Meet Joyce "JJ" Jelks

Founder & CEO

JJ's journey has been nothing short of remarkable. As the former Head of People & Culture at Wieden & Kennedy (W+K) NY, she led with passion and vision, overseeing every aspect of the Human Resources function. Prior to her tenure at W+K, JJ held pivotal roles at Excel Sports Management, New York City Football Club (NYCFC), NJ Devils/Prudential Center, and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, shaping the HR landscape with her dedication and expertise.


Beyond her corporate achievements, JJ's commitment to service is equally awe-inspiring. As a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves stationed at the Inspectors General Office, United States Southern Command in Miami, FL, she dedicated over 23 years to defending her country and upholding its values.


JJ's educational journey reflects her thirst for knowledge and growth. A graduate of the University of Toledo, her hometown university, she went on to earn a master’s degree in HR from Florida International University, enhancing her strategic capabilities and leadership acumen.


Certified as SPHR & SHRM-SCP, JJ is not only proficient in HR practices but also excels as a Practitioner in Insights Discovery, Circl, and Leadership Circle methodologies. Her multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence continue to inspire those around her, making a profound impact in every role she undertakes.
